Gut bugs?

Did someone say bugs?

Yes that’s right I said it, not only bugs but gut bugs. Bacteria are … everywhere, literally: in the air, soil, food, water, and your body – on your skin, in your mouth, eyebrows, in your intestines and your poop, even in your tears. Most is good and healthy for us. For most of the time, the population of bacteria in the large intestine lives in balance within its confines. The relationship that exists between the body and its resident bacterial population is a symbiotic one where both parties benefit from the relationship.

The bacteria play important roles in nutrient digestion, vitamin synthesis, energy metabolism and immune responses. In return, the bacteria are provided with steady growth conditions and a constant stream of nutrients.

Then there’s bad bacteria. This is the stuff that affects your skin, destroys your mind, and causes all kinds of severe digestive problems. Bad bacteria is a result of your diet, your environment, and the way you live.

Unfortunately, we can’t continue to eat bad foods, and live these stressful lives and expect bad bacteria to disappear. That’s not going to work. You’re also not going to completely get rid of the bacteria in your gut either. So forget about trying.

The key to having a healthy gut is having a healthy balance of the GOOD and BAD bacteria. Starting with cornerstone PRE AND PRO biotics. which is a healthy way to bring your good gut bugs to life. That with adding some pro biotic foods especially fermented foods such as sour kraut, kimchi ,and replace your bread with sour dough, to your diet and you will be on the way to a new healthier, more energetic you.. Oh and remove processed, and packaged foods from your busy lives.. I GET IT, its hard but so worth it for weight management and brain health.
